To me, this is one of the most chilling videos ever, especially that it comes at a time when I’m often contemplating the possibility that our news cycles are entirely fake and long pre-scripted, like this show suggests. And I’m the among the very few to discuss cognitive warfare around here… After you read a few headlines here you know I can’t be easily impressed.

This was aired in 1968 by BBC, UK, part of the Thirty Minute Theatre TV series (1965-1973), episode titled The News-Benders. A dramatization of a fiction story eerily resembling our age and our perspectives today. I remind you that the hype in the 1970’s-1980’s was all about a coming Little Ice-Age.
